Leaking under the engine

Hello. I just brought a 2002 4runner a week ago. It looks very nice and run great but i toke it to get a oil change and the guy told me I got a oil leak. He said that he can't tell me because of some job issue so I dont know what is leaking and how to fix it. Its leaking around this thing and I think its the transmission but not sure... Does anyone know where the leak is comming from and what I can do to fix it?

I just fixed a similar leak. The o-ring on the oil cooler. With your skid plate removed, crawl under the car and look up at where the oil cooler mounts to the engine block. It will be apparant that it is leaking because there will be oil around it and dripping off of it.

So do i just tighten it? or do i take it to a shop to fix it?

Plus the car is amking loud bumping noise from the engine when i put it in drive

Most likely the O-Ring needs to be replaced. like RS said. Easy fix

First thoroughly degrease everything, then determine where the leak is coming from. Also, check to see if it is engine or trans oil.
