Leaks

I have a couple leaks I would like your opinions on.
1) XREAS leak. The truck has 150k on it and this is the only one leaking currently. To me it's not bad enough to worry about yet, but tell me what you think.

2) Axle boot clamp broken. The clamp, as you can see, is roaming free on the axle arm. I believe I can just put another clamp on and be ok, right? Where exactly do I add the grease for the axle? Thanks in advance.

This has been covered a few times in the past.

First off if the XREAS is indeed leaking, this is going to cause problems down the road if not already as the shocks will no longer function properly. Many members just swap them out for Bilstein 5100's so not a big issue.

Second, just throw a new clamp on there and you'll be good. A lot of members like to use Marine grade stuff. Just do a search on leaking CV axles.

Any chance I could use M1 synthetic grease in there and just use a needle to inject some grease and close it off with a new clamp? I'm headed on vacation this weekend and don't have time to pull the boot and repack until I get back. I'm not getting any noise from the axle, so I am thinking it will be fine for another 600-700 miles anyway.

I don't remember what CV Axle grease is called in stores, or if you can get it. But basically that's how people do it with the needle and new clamp.
