Leather seats too hot. Looking for vented leather seats.

I had cloth in my last Toyota and hated having to clean the seats after every camping trip. I got leather in my 2016 4runner and love how easy it is to clean the seats but I sweat my a$$ off even with the A/C full blast.

Is there any way to put vented front seats in a 2016 SR5?

My wife drives a LE and I sure wish my TEP had per seats with AC like hers. Do you know what the Katzkin Degrees cost? How do the plumb it into the AC? I also wish I had automatic seat memory and I do like her smart key/push button start. Too bad they aren't factory options for those that don't want an LE.

From this thread on Tacoma World, it looks like you can get the Degreez for $350 a seat (plus whatever install labor runs). Not bad if you ask me. I was at some point going to look into this further as I get closer to buying a 5th gen.

I requested a quote, it appears to be around $2000 - $2500 from the webpage.
I'm not positive but about 99% sure it's only a blower so if you have the ac on it will circulate the cool air into the seat.

Yeah I wish that was an option as well.

I hope to find another option that would allow for just a replacement of the current seat heater that has both the heating and cooling functions.

Thanks. I'll look into but I'm concerned it wont work because I dont have perforated leather seats.

You are correct in that you will need to buy new perforated leather seats as well.

Have you considered a ventilated cushion for just the summer months. Save a ton of money
