Well done Alan, give me a call when coming back as I really want to drive / feel the OME set up. That was my first choice but shyed away since some thought it was too harsh. How has it been for you?

I will give you a heads up when I'm in PA for sure! The suspension Is firm with the Heavy Heavy combo, somewhat of a Truck ride. I don't mind it, the tires have a bit of a rumble but that suits me just fine. Once we have our gear packed in the back I think she'll smooth out. Thanks again for the advise and your experience with your build.

Quick questions, on your dual battery setup, where is the solenoid mounted? I thought it might be that box in the far right of your engine bay, but not sure? Also how are you controlling it/monitoring it? E.g via a switch or monitor?

I think what he meant is the round side should face in, but in your picture it's facing outwards? I scanned a copy of my install sheet from SPC for you to look at.

Personally, I would probably rotate it and make it point the right direction just in case...not sure if it's dangerous or not though.

With "SPC" letters facing inward, [MENTION=88437]Lebengeek[/MENTION] you probably won't get wheel alignment to spec. Didn't wheel alignment guy mention that?

Other than that, it's an awesome truck! Good job.

Good to know Shrockworks does rear bumper too, I don't see it on their web site.

I'll try to explain the ball joint "concern".

You upper ball joints are essentially installed "backwards". What this means is the offset of the balljoint is heading away from the vehicle. This causes positive camber (top of tire leaning out). Main Line, or whoever installed these, had to compensate for this with your lower control arm adjustment on the eccentric bolts. In your picture above (the one with the shock) shows the lower eccentric bolt maxxed out towards the outside of the vehicle. This moves the lower ball joint backwards. This will cause more negative caster. We want positive caster. Ideally around 4*.

If you look closley at your very detailed pic, you'll see both lower control arm eccentric bolts maxxed out toward the outside of the truck. This pushes the lower ball joint away from the truck. Most likely because they were trying to compensate for the upper ball joint that is too far away from the truck as well.

You are most likely not in a dangerous situation. Unless something was left loose. But that has nothing to do with ball joint location. You just don't have your truck aligned as best as possible. Especially with the quality of components you have paid for and had "professionally" installed.

Those Rigids did turn out the way you wanted though, right?! :biggrin2:

Solenoid is on drivers side behind the sPOD's
I have a Natuanal Luna Dual Bat controler installed. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.
