I'm looking for recommendations on an LED bar to put on a cargo basket on my 2015 SR5.

I know nothing on the issue and figured this was a good place to start, so whats your favorite brand, model, any info is helpful. thanks!

You need to decide the style you want (1 long double stack, 1 long single stack, shorter units, older KC style LED replicas) then you can start looking at the different brand offerings and light patterns.

My 2cents, I love my rigid lights, top notch quality, great light etc. but even with a very steep group buy discount of doing it again I would look really hard at more value oriented options.......its just a light.

2 things I could have spent less money on and been just as happy, shocks and lights. 2 Things I have no regrets on and wish I had bought sooner, ARB fridge and the ARB twin air compressor,

Will the vehicle be parked where the light could be stolen? Losing a cheap Amazon light to theft or trail damage does not hurt as much as losing an expensive light. Be sure to use relays and fuses. If using a cheap light I recommend painting the hardware once installed to avoid rust.

As mentioned above, it depends on what your pockets call for and what the purpose is

I've had friends who ran Rigid but they ran them strictly on their off road vehicles that spent 90% of their time in the dunes at night - it made sense for them to invest $1800 on a 42" light bar. I'll admit that thing had some serious distance so it helped on high speed runs.

I've personally ran $120-220 combo Amazon bars on my rigs because i don't do high speed runs or need to see insane distances. My 52" curved Amazon bar on my last Tacoma allowed me to see about 75 yards out when i went night shooting in the pitch black desert - money well spent vs $1800. I currently run a 31.5 Amazon bar on my 4R and it does the job as well

I went with Black Oak LED, well I got pod's but their bars are pretty durable. Here's a torture test video they sent me.

Also I don't think the prices aren't bad either, I got mine on sale last month.

You need to pay attention to the wattage of your cree leds....
do you want 3W, 5W or 10W CREE's?
Some LED light bars use lower watt cree's and use reflectors with magnified lenses.

I chose to run higher wattage CREE LED's without magnifiers and have been very satisfied. They cost me a lot less than rigids!
MicTuning Online store 4 wheel parts led light bar has some, you can make a decision and then purchase from Amazon and sometimes get a good deal...

I did a lot of reading online before purchasing my light bar and everything that I read told me to go with auxbeam.com. I had purchased a dual row 30" light bar and a couple days later it was at my door. I wanted to test it out so I connected it to my auxiliary fuse panel and needless to say I was disappointed. The wires got so hot that I wasn't even able to touch the wires with my hands anymore. I contacted auxbeam.com and returned it the following day. If you are looking for a quality light I would highly recommend spending the money on a quality piece. I ended up finding a Rigid on craigslist for pretty reasonable and I bought it. My next purchase for lights will be from Black Oak Led. They have very similar quality to Rigid but a bit cheaper. I've learned to buy right the first time.
