Hey guys,
I've got some cash coming my way and was thinking about what I wanna spend it on.:happy bda
I for sure know I'm gettin a set of snowboard racks cuz i need em for the amount of time I go up to the snow. Then I thought I might drop some money into an LED light bar from LEDBARSUSA. What do you guys think. Most people I know are gonna say a lift, but I'm gonna have to wait til college guys. The light bar is also a necessity cuz im gonna need better lighting for the fog when I'm goin up to the snow. Any opinions?

From the picture the output looks great. They look pretty durable cuz ther made from aluminum. And they come with mounting brackets which I'm hoping will fit on my front bumper.

Hello there, I see you may be interested in one of my LED bars. I'm going to have an intro group buy for the SR bars that will be up tonight, and will run for 1 week. So if you're wanting one of the SR bars now would defenitely be the time to get it for a better price. Just keep an eye out for my thread later tonight.

Also remember all of my LED bars include a 1 year warranty, if you buy one and have any issues just let me know and i'll take care of you to the best of my ability. I even have a 10" SR bar behind the grill on my 03 Isuzu Rodeo and I haven't had any problems, even after completely submerging it water and abusing the heck out of it.

Cheers!

As an owner and close local friend to a dealer of these light bars I will say they are pretty cool. I'm guessing LEDbarsUSA is a dealer in them as well. They might not be Rigid Industries but they put out some good light. I have the 30" SR Series

I need to get some better pics but these are all I have for now.

If you go to the snow as much as you claim. Save for a decent set of snow tires, or maybe use that money for some recovery gear..

Boring I know.. But thats what I would do and I live in the mountains in the winter.

Thanks for the advice bro. But my uncle owns a tire shop so I've already got that covered, which is why I wanted to focus on racks and lighting. I will probably invest in some recovery gear soon too.

I would say that the LED bar, if truly intended for FOG, is not your best option... You would want actual fog lights or projectors.

Two reasons:
True fog lights use warmer/yellower light that cuts through the fog better and reduces the amount of glare that is apparent with the cooler color temperatures associated with LEDs.

LED bars are also have a very wide dispersion with their light vertically, meaning there is no sharp line, as seen with fog lights and projectors. If you get an LED bar for fog, it would give you the regular high beam effect in fog.

I had the Hella 500's in the past, and they were great lights for the price. I've since upgraded to HID projector fogs with the yellow bulbs. These are awesome in snow fall/fog

Mount them low... within reason

Finally somebody who makes sense.

An LED lightbar for fog is a horrible idea.

Here's a smartass remark. How about saving the money or investing it? Snowboards fit in the back of a SUV no problem, even with 4 people, 4 snowboards, and gear.
