LED Fog Replacement on 2005?

So finally after 4 years of running silverstars for low/high/fog, one of the fogs burned out. At this point it looks like LED is a viable option for replacements but I figured I'd post up and get peoples opinions. Right now I don't plan on replacing the headlights to projectors or anything due to funds but I do need to at least get that fog replaced and I figured I would do the both of them at once even though the other hasn't failed yet.

Any opinions on an LED replacement for fogs? If so, any recommendations on which to use?

I bought new housings and yellow plug and play LEDS for fog light bulbs. Should be arriving monday so ill let you know how they look. I run Rigid D2s and a set of duallys if I really need light so these are more for looks and I figure the yellow should cut through fog pretty well for a inexpensive option.

Cool, let me know how they look! I don't think I am going to go yellow though.

I think it looks really clean. however I cant comment on effectiveness yet. Id say probably not that much. thats why I bought the rigid industries lights though.

If just going for looks, then they are fine. If you want functionality, look elsewhere.

So, the LED's did look cool but they basically did nothing as far as a fog light goes. I returned the bulbs and ended up getting Nokya 55w hyper yellow bulbs. They work much better then stock.. and 100 times better then the LED and cost half the amount. Their maybe better LED options out there or some HID retro's you can put in but the beam pattern isnt worth it. the Nokya's do all you need out of the stock housing.

If you really want power just by the rigid industries light mount them in lower grill.. Its been foggy the last few nights here on LI and nothing competes with the rigid's.
