I know alot of folks have been getting confused here lately on replacing their front and rear turn signals with LEDs only to have them do the fast hyperblinking so I thought I'd share a quick How-To
1. If you are replacing just the front or the back you will need something similar to this found on SuperBright LEDs - LED Resistor. You are going to need one of these per LED, so if it's just the front, then just 2, if you are replacing all of your turn signal bulbs with LED's then you will need a total of 4.
2. On the front you will want to remove the wiring harness connection that has the turn signal and parking light bulb on both headlamps. What you are going to do is create a parallel circuit by using splice tappers. You will splice tap one wire from the load resistor to the brown wire coming out of the turn signal bulb and one splice tap the other wire from the resistor to the white stripped wire. Perform this step for both
3. For the rear I found it easiest to remove both of the rear housings which can be easily done by opening up the access panel in the cargo area and removing the two nuts holding the rear light assembly to the car. What I did was to solder the a load resistor's wires, one going to each to the brass tabs on the turn signal bulb. Good thing here is that it's fairly easy to do and it won't get in the way if you ever need to remove the bulb.
Finally you will want to secure these to the car. What ever you do, don't zip tie them to the wiring harness itself if in case the resistor were to ever become hot.
So there you have it a quick and easy way to finally solve the common problem of hyperblinking
