Looks nice! Just wish I had the balls to install the puddle lights. I'm afraid I will pull too hard and break something!
 
Teaser pics for those who will be getting the 5th gen kit:)


Same added brightness but in a compact packaged means more if analyzed.

1. More diodes but smaller panels:
Same size diodes, smaller panels but more LED's means that there will be a wider array of applications if people request an LED kit for a certain vehicle

New map lights are 9 LED compared to the old 6 LED. The new dome lights are 25 LED compared to 24 LED. And yes, they are still the high powered 5050 LED

Same 3m adhesive backing but! Rather than regular ziploc pouches, I will be using anti-static bags to prevent any kind of damage during shipping

Yep, they will. I'll eventually get pictures of the install. But it's so simple, I didn't want to take away from the 'for sale' thread :)

Okay since this is a new product I want to say the rules of the group buy, I have had 5 succesful ones(you can search my threads) so far so I think it is a fair enough system. I will send out the payment requests tonight

In a nutshell the rules are:

1. We get over 20 people and I send out payment requests
2. I give a 5 business day deadline for people to send payment
3. If you do not send the payment by 5 business days, you do not get your kit in the batch, but those who paid will get theirs shipped out(sometimes earlier than the 5 business days) all at the same time.

With this group buy it is harder because I had to order more variations in inventory due to the variations in lighting setups. In a perfect world I would just send the payment requests and trust that everyone on the list was still committed but I had too many packed up kits that did not send out and had inventory overstocked before:dammit:

Are those 5w Cree reverse lights? The model/label is what I'm basing my guess on.

Looks Good!

LJ- put me down for everything (for now)! No RES, wasn't aware you could get a TV system for this model.

You got it Mason:) They are 5w CREE reverse lights! Antistatic packaging as well;)

Works for 4th and 5th gen according to the osram bulb guide. Also works for 2nd gen tacomas:hatsoff: So if you have friends with those, send em here:)

I have yet to see a 4runner without the 2 rear hatch lights. Unless there is something different about the base SR5 2wd???

Is that right? I have no relation to LJ, but would like everyone to get the correct setup :)

That appears correct for US models, only difference I am aware of is Canadian SR5's lack puddle lights, i communicated that to LJ in a PM though so he is aware.
 
Thanks! So it would be the same as the Trail? None of the SR5 versions in Canada have the puddle lights?

Do these bulbs do a nice job illuminating the trunk area better then the stockers. Any pics of the rear hatch illuminated?
 
jhawk: Are the puddle light bulbs the same as the license plate bulbs? I am afraid to change out the puddle bulbs for fear of breaking something
