Hey guys im thinking about mounting an led light bar on my whitson roof rack. Anyone have pics of a light bar on their roof racks or anywhere else cool? Im thinking about a 40" or a 30" not sure which I want yet. Just thought I would see what you guys were doing with them. Ive done the google images search and just have not found any good ones.

I have a 42" bar from Undead Offroad on my roof, but my rack isn't as long as the Whitson so I mounted it right on the roof. If I had mounted it on my rack it would have been too far back.

i have the stock WMW roof rack (i.e. two outer posts then two small posts in the middle) this would make it difficult to mount most bars with the outer mounts, however, the lamphus bar fits perfectly due to their mounts. LED Off Road ATV Light Bar - LAMPHUS CRUIZER CRLB78

The best place ive seen is through the rubber boot for the rear hatch. I just finished the main construction of my $60 roof rack (needs grinding and paint) so I haven't actually ran the wires yet for my light bars but it looks like it will work fine.
I, too, have the stock WMW roof rack, so I had planned to mount my own LED light bars just like [MENTION=92273]EdmundGTP[/MENTION] did on his 4th gen

Funny, I hadn't seen EdmundGTPs setup, but I'd originally gone with two 12" lamphus lights, thinking that they would fit well in to those two slots. i ultimately decided that i didn't like three things about it 1) the look, which is subjective 2) having to wire multiple lights 3) most importantly, that i would lose a lot of light output/lumens, as well as having no flood lighting on the sides.

it just dawned on me whilst reading this thread, that this forum, like many other forums, is full of people who just want to post pics of their cool stuff (me included). you might be surprised it took me this long to figure this out, but chalk it up to me being a slow thinker, haha.

what else did you have to buy in order to wire that Lamphus light bar (the website states that light does not include wiring...)?
