Again, don't apologize for the questions. I need to make sure you get what you need so you don't flop your rig due to me sending you a narrow spot when I should've sent a flood light :rofl:

Spot Beam - 30 Degrees
Flood Beam - 60 Degrees

You hit the nail on the head. For your application, I'd do a spot beam Light Bar on your bull bar, and two flood beam Pods mounted in front of your side view mirrors (on the air intake panel or the pillar), angled outward.

Actually, in person, the lights look closer to 5000K than they do to 6000K.

In person, there's no blueish tint at all. The night shots of the 7.5" ES TrekLight shown below are an accurate representation of what the lights look like. Keep in mind, this is just ONE 7.5" ES TrekLight. No headlights or high beams:

I suspected as much, the high power of the LED washes out the color a little. The 7.5" flood pattern is perfect for my application

I won't have any TrekLight XT's in stock until Friday (sold my only sample set last week). I'll snap some photos when they come in.

Alright everyone, get excited! For those of you who aren't participating in the current group buy, I'll be organizing one next month. I've already started making preparations with my OEM.

No worries. I will be looking forward to seeing some shots once you get more stock in. Is there any chance of more output pictures? I'd really like to see a comparison of all the lights, especially the XT models. What about wiring? Do they come with a harness of require one to be sourced?

Yes, I'll definitely post some more output photos when I get the new stock in.

I'm working on putting together a clean wiring harness. Hopefully I'll have it done by the time the GB rolls around. I'd like to, at the very least, ship these with the wiring harness components.

Do you have any pictures of the mounting hardware? I'm thinking I might have to pick some of those 4" SL's for fog lights and the pod's for reverse lights when you start the GB. I'm curious how the 4" SL's mount.

I'm getting some TrekLight SL's in my shipment this week, so I'll post photos of those mounts on Friday.

The mount for the 4" TrekLight SL is the same as the 4" TrekLight XT. Its a stainless steel bolt that goes through the bottom of the light bar, through an aluminum-alloy brace, through a beauty cover, through whatever surface you're mounting it to, and then is secured by a locknut.

I'm making it sound more complicated than it actually is haha.

Here's a bad caveman drawing (done by me just now) of how it works.

Imaging the bolt being inside of the aluminum brace and beauty cover. This drawing is not to scale:

Cool, thanks for the visual and the image. Gonna have to see how much wiggle room I have for mounting or what I can come up with to mount them in my valance as is. Thanks again!
 
I am ready for the next group buy
2 SL 4" Flood pattern
1 Trek Pod XT 25 degree (I think)

Mounted in front of the grill on the bumper it should give me all the front lighting needed.

Maybe a 6.5 SL flood for the back.

At least this is my initial thoughts
 
When I get my rear bumper and swing out I want to mount a single light right above the tire as a reverse and camp light. Similar to this setup.

I originally wanted a Rigid Dually with diffused lens but not too excited about paying the price tag.

What single light would you suggest for this application? I like the 4" SL led bar you have because it's pretty slim, but I'm not sure if a flood pattern and normal lens is going to be enough to disperse the light the way I'm looking for. Thanks for any help!

BTW, Welcome to the boards. You seem a lot more stable than the last lights vendor we had lol.

I'd recommend the flood beam 4" TrekLight XT.

The photo below shows the spot beam (sorry for the crappy photo- you can't see it, but the light is shining on that building down in the distance).

If mounted over a tire in flood pattern, you'd have an excellent camping/reverse light.
