That happens a lot here. It doesn't take much for a good tech thread to pop up.
I'll say!
Out of curiousity, what degree of beam do your lights have? For example, for lights that I will put up front I will want to be able to see nearly 90* out to the left and right. I will also want to see a decent distance out in front of me.
Would I be better off to get some small flood lights on the front side and point them 45* out and put a good spot pattern bar in the middle? Excuse my newb questions but I don't really know anything about light bars.
Again, don't apologize for the questions. I need to make sure you get what you need so you don't flop your rig due to me sending you a narrow spot when I should've sent a flood light :rofl:
Spot Beam - 30 Degrees
Flood Beam - 60 Degrees
You hit the nail on the head. For your application, I'd do a spot beam Light Bar on your bull bar, and two flood beam Pods mounted in front of your side view mirrors (on the air intake panel or the pillar), angled outward.
