I've been considerig adding some LED lighting and reading a lot on this forum. Recently I have come across more LED lighting options and wondering if anyone's done any comparisons of the different LED light manufacturers and products. Up until recently most LED mentions were about Rigid, and now I'm finding more options like Hanma, Trek Lights, Phantom Trailhawk, etc. Anybody have experience with more than one mfr's products?

All I know is that I thought all LED driving lights were garbage until Rigid hit the scene a few years ago. I'm really happy with the Rigids that I have. I do plan on using another brand for my side and reverse lights on my roof rack though, as I think Rigids would probably be overkill in that application. A local 4x4 shop up here sells those Vision-X lights, so I think I might try them. I'll do a writeup and review in my build thread when I buy them.

From my research VisionX seems to have the best output. Their 10 watt EVO bars are nice and unfortunately expensive. I do like my Rigid SR20 on my bumper but have a feeling I will be repkacing it with a VisionX EVO bar after all is said and done.

Wurton LED is worth a mention....

I have their pod lights and they are sick! They are bright a have a very wide spread. Durable casing and easy to mount.

I have been contemplating one of their light bars.... though my wallet has stopped me! You should get one and let us know your thoughts

EDIT** Forgot to post this:

This will help you as far as comparison with the top LED brands out there:

I've seen the Hanma's in person, so I can do a quick comparison.

First of all, they're made in China.

They are bright, but not as bright as the rigids. The build quality is another thing to look at. Have you seen the rigid torture test? I don't think these Hanma's can take a bat to the face lol. Also the Hanma's get super hot after being on for a few seconds.

I'm sure they're great for the price, but if you want some quality bars, go with the brands everyone knows of.
