LED off road Lightbars to headlight Modification....

Good job for being innovative and different! I too have a projector retrofit and am not satisfied with the overall bug eye look. I will be hacking up my lights down the road to change it up, but for now, just gotta do what I can do haha.

They're very cool. There's just something not quite proportional about them. I think they're too low in the housing, I'm not sure. I might try and find a spare set of lights to experiment with.

yeah, i was gonna go higher but the light bars were little long so they hit the top since the factory housing curves at the top. but o well, i did power them up last night without the dimmer installed and wow! they are bright. working on the wiring today and tomorrow.

well i believe if i were to do it again and since this is a first time for me, i think if i were to suggest to you some ideas, id say go with a set of the ridged industries smaller light style because they also put out as much light if not more than what i have now. or also the retrofit source also has some nice smaller light bars. my next set will be from there like these...

10ac...great job! Love the fact you dove off with both feet end...all out!! I'm with the majority on here. Think your lights look sic!!! Can't wait for you to post more pic...although, I'm sure the pics won't do the real thing justice when you show the lights. Still can't wait anyway...lol!!

Keep up the great work

thanks man! appreciate the kind words. not bad for the first time setup but the next will be better for sure. i have some ideas to make them more for folks with daily drivers. i may make another set a little differently. but anyways, thanks and ill have some more pics up after they are finished as well as maybe a video using the dimmer too.

Did you ever get the dimmer installed? did it work?
