LED turn signal mods

On my 05' I want to run LEDs in my turn signals. I don't plan on using the DRL's anymore.
What relay/flasher do I need?
Searched with no luck.
TIA

Not sure what impact you are expecting between the DRLs and the LEDs?

The blinker just needs a resistor to use enough juice to keep the correct blinking speed, due to the efficiency of the LEDs, the flasher will think a bulb is out....

..and now ofcourse they have multiplie colors in one bulb white/amber

That's what I need. The resistor to make them blink right.
What resistor are they using.
I thought there you could use a different relay/flasher.
I have driving lights for my DRLs.

You can buy a flasher that's designed for LEDs instead of the factory bulbs. I just bought one for my 3rd gen. Adding the resistor brings the current draw back up and negates one of the benefits to switching to LEDs.

$150 for turn signal bulbs?! You are out of your mind lol

yea Im not sure what the quality concerns were but those things are pricey !

If there is a flasher it would be way easier than splicing the hot wire in the confined space behind the headlights...I did it and put the standard bulbs back...the "amber" LED seems a bit yellow to my eye...but I didnt buy the $150 color switchers either...but really ? the current draw of a blinker ? Sure it is a benefit but what does it benefit the alternator runs 1% less often?

Put the "amber" LEDs in my running boards
