LEDs look greenish?

Hey guys. So I was just swapping some of my running board and door lights, and almost all of the lights look greenish. They are from TRS and should be the 194 white LEDs, but for some reason, only the front driver running board light is the proper pure white. All other running board and door LEDs have a greenish tinge to them and it is really off-putting. The white LED looks slick, but the green ones?

I have an 03 4WD Limited V8. The weird thing is that the map lights were replaced with the same LEDs and they look fine. I tried moving LEDs around and swapping the good-looking map lights into the running board lights, but they all look greenish. Anybody have any ideas?

That's what I thought too. I bought in three separate batches/orders from TRS. All of them are looking greenish in the spots mentioned above, but they look nice and white in the front driver running board light. It's really odd. I cannot figure it out.

LEDs are separated into different bins (or lots, not sure the exact term) in the factory according to differences in color. i wonder if all the TRS LEDs came from the same bin or not?

may or may not be the issue, but thought i'de throw it out there for education purposes.

Yea I think I found the problem. The white "paint" or whatever it is that gives the LED its bright white color doesn't go all the way to edge. There is this greenish looking glue that appears to be holding everything together or something along those lines. The way the LED sits in the 4runner running board, the green light comes through the most and seems most prominent. It sucks.
