Left Turn Signal Handle Wiring

I have an '02 4Runner that my left turn signal handle sometimes does not blink and when I slightly move the handle up it begins to blink. I've checked the bulbs and that's not it. Any suggestions to fix this?

If playing with the position of the lever makes it work, and you know with absolute certainty all the bulbs are working, it's the combination switch.

^^^^what he said. Sometimes you can rehab a stalk switch. I've done it on a BMW 7-series, but have not yet had the problem on a 4Runner. Here's a DIY from my link collection:
