Hello FELLOW 4Runner owners! Good news, we reached a deal. Not as sweet as I demanded, but sweet enough. Got them to throw in the 10 year guaranteed undecoating, mud flaps (installed for me), and a $450 further reduction in our agreed upon price because there were no running boards. Thank you everyone for your help in my decision.
Well done!!!! You have basically stolen a brand new 5th gen LTD. Thats the best price I ever heard of. :canada: The running boards that come with the Limited really suck anyways, they are way too thin and essentially useless.

I had it overnight last night. This morning before I hopped in the shower I crawled underneath with a flash light. Couldn't quite figure out where the running boards would mount, but I saw no signs of scraping of any fasteners, or bolts anywhere in between the front and rear wheels on both sides of the vehicle. Looks like it actually was delivered that way to them. Either way, at least I got a little bit back. I could probably get an OEM set on here from the buy/sell thread for a reasonable price.

Well this thread will fade out now but I just wanted to post a pic from last night when I went to pick up the new 4Runner! Drove the Jeep in, drove the 4Runner out
Amazing! I looked at this Ltd in October, only two weeks before I bought my SR5. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's O'Regan's Toyota on Kempt Rd in Halifax. Congrats on the purchase. I'm certain you will love your new 4Runner. :cheers:

Haha, yes that is correct. Hard to believe it didn't sell. They mentioned someone from NFLD was looking at it... though it must not have been you as this was recently. Anyway, I am happy with it! The more I drive it, the more I am happy with it. I have it in the garage warming up so I can peel off their pesky sticker with some blow dryer treatment.
I first looked at it in January. Why didn't you get it? If there is something I need to know, I'm pretty sure there are right of rescission laws!

Haha, no nothing wrong with it at all. I loved it!! And it definitely wasn't this Newfie looking at it recently. The last time I was up your way was for Thanksgiving with the fam. Like i mentioned, mine came from NS and the inspection sticker in the driver window was punched in May which means mine sat on the lot for 6 months before the dealer here snatched it up for me.
The only reason I never went for that beautiful blue limited was that I decided that the 17"rims were more practical for me. I take my vehicle to a lot of spots that I would cringe if I had 20s on. I couldn't justify the jump in price when i would be changing out the 20s for a set of 17s for the winter and another set for the summer. For that reason I went for the SR5 with the leather and moonroof. I do miss the dual climate control though. Congrats again on the purchase.
