Wait... How did you mount the fire extinguisher there? Could you post pics and or details? Alternately, I could see mounting mine where your french press water bottle holder is mounted. I have an extinguisher, but for now it is under the rear of the driver's seat. This is not ideal, but better than not having one.

It’s basically just two straps that hold the first aid kit. With the extra I wrapped it around the fire extinguisher and down to the seat cover loops. It’s been there for awhile now and hasn’t come loose even on some heavily rutted roads.

I like this thread. Saw some cool setups. PO’s kid put this in. It’s in the bottom din slot of the stereo since I have a single din above. It uses an arduino chip to communicate with the obdii interface and display info on the screen. It shows SFT and LFT, which aren’t super useful to me, but I have no ability to change it, so whatever. ECT is obviously useful and so is IAT. A while back he tried to talk me through changing SFT to MPG, but I was unable. It’s a pretty cool, and very customizable idea for someone more technologically inclined than myself.

Here's a good place for the Ultraguage if you are not opposed to covering 0 to 50 Km/h. I live on the edge, baby. Fortunately the Wife can see it and yell at me if I am speeding through a school zone. Handy.

Also visible to the left is my line powered volt meter that is tied to the accessory fuse. Needs no battery. Just used an add a fuse in the fuse panel. Whenever the key is on, the voltmeter displays. This was put in before I got the UG.

thanks, its a 2nd gen Inclinometer. They usually come in a dash pod but i had the wrong color and didnt want it up on the dash. found it back in Texas for 30 bucks but that deal is rare nowadays.

Convenient but I suspect if you were to get pulled over, especially in a school zone, a cop wouldn't entertain this idea for a second

I don't remember what year yours is...starting with the center bezel itself and requisite wiring, the display to the right of the rear window switch, or just the handy gadgets?

[MENTION=15163]Spiker[/MENTION], I'm curious what deck you put in and what vehicle it came outta, was it plug and play?, I'm still liking and using my factory Toyota/Technics(Matsushita) 99 head unit with tape deck and CD player and added the Bluetooth piggy back for hands free phone calls and music, it also came with an aux and USB plug, the Bluetooth plugged into the optional CD changer plug. But if this ever fails I will be looking for another factory Toyota head unit that has a tape/CD player with optional CD changer that will ideally accept a Bluetooth piggy back. I still rock my tape collection and even mix up my own Metal Type IV Tapes I have left over from the 90's using my old high end Pioneer stack lol.

The Scion T1819 upgrade is well worth the little bit of fabing required. It’s 300w, hands free phone, Bluetooth streaming and usb streaming. A few adapter cables are required and the MIC but they show up on eBay with the adapter cables pretty regular. I paid 50 for two and 75 for the other.

My build and repair thread documents what’s required. I liked it so much I put one in my 2002 S Series Saturn.

The temperature gauge died last year, and I could not find a 0.36" digital temp gauge in Fahrenheit, so now the display is in Celsius .
