What do you like the most about your Limited?
How's the stereo and the Navi on the Limited?
How's KDDS and the handling?

On my SR5, when I come to an abrupt stop and get going again, I feel a jerking motion. I think it's the drive shaft (lube issue). Does the Limited have this same issue. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks in advance!

All 5th Gens will have that issue, it is not just an SR5 thing. The FJ has the same issue as well.

Lets just say this, the ONLY thing I do not like about my LE is, it does not come with ventilated cooled seats.

Pretty sure KDSS is only available on the trail model. The limited has the XREAS.
 
I like the JBL speakers, the NAV is not good, not even as good as my phone, or my 3 year old Garmin...

There's no KDSS on the LE.

No real complaints with my LE. XREAS is actually really nice and keeps the truck flat though turns and really changes handling over an SR5 in my opinion.

I love all the options on the LE and actually use them a lot.

- It's great to have 2 120V outlets for trips and other small odds and ends.
- Also you get plenty of off road ability: Down hill assist, A-TRAC, plus the locking center diff (which none of the other models have)
- You will seriously LOVE the smart key. It doesn't seem like much but once you get used to it, there is no going back.
- The JBL system is actually pretty awesome. I had a ridiculous sound system (over 3-4 grand invested in it, JL, Alpine, Pioneer, you name it) in my old truck, so I was used to good sound, and this system did not disappoint me. It's not quite as loud, but the quality is second to none.

If I HAD to get picky, then I would agree that the NAV (I have the NAV before entune, so I cannot comment as to how that system works) does leave a lot to be desired, but you can always put in something aftermarket.

You don't need a locking center differential when you don't have a center differential. Putting an SR5 or TE into 4WD is just like having the center diff locked on a Limited.

Very true, but the Limited can benefit from full time 4WD with the center diff. At least that is my understanding.

I originally planned on going the sr5 route, but to get what I wanted, I would be on a waiting list for another x months. I will especially appreciate the LE's full-time 4wd (let's call it what it is - awd) considering my frequent trips up to the mountains in the winter. AWD, in my experience, outperforms 4wd on ice.

have had my LE for a few months now:

I do not believe the JBL system is that good at all. I am in the process of upgrading the entire system. If I were to do it again I would get the stock radio and then upgrade.

The suspension seems to be great, a big difference from when I test drove the sr5.

The navigation is not bad. It's not like Google Maps on your phone, but when I compare it to the one in my VW R32; this one is the bomb.

The JBL isn't great, but not bad either.. not an audiophile, so it serves my purpose.

As mentioned; No KDDS on the LE.

my only major gripe is the crappy seats. the driver side is bad; the non adjustable passenger is worse. The seats on the FJ are better and that's a cheaper vehicle.

that said.. I'd still get it again :)

What I really like:

- The ride and the handling (even with the crappy OEM tires)
- The full-time 4wheel drive
- Rock solid V6
- Keyless entry
- The overall look
- The fact that it's a 4Runner

What I don't:

- The NAV stinks
- I like the look of the 20" rims but wish they were wider
- The newer style oil filter makes DIY oil changes pretty much impossible for me
- Wish the steering had more road feel

I trade an '03 Sport that I bought brand new for my '11 LE. There are still a things I like better about my '03,..great vehicle, loved it. As much as I love the new look and LE features it's taken me the better part of the first year to really warm up to my LE. I finally feel like it's my vehicle now.
