Hey Titanpat57

I had no idea that you were up my way bro! My sis used to live in Newburgh NY in the "Green house" apts right where Interstate 87, 84, rt 300, and rt 17 all come together. There's a great lil' diner by the name of "Johnny D's" across from a lake where the wife-n-I like to go every now-n-then. Cheers neighbor!

Then Titanpat57 replied:
Very familiar with the area....had a construction business in Newburgh for 25 years.

I really liked that diner a lot...then they got written up for the worst diner in Orange Co. for health violations. I'm not a real picky eater....but even I had to draw the line somewhere. I'm sure they got their act together by now. Now that I'm over in Beacon, we hit the Yankee Clipper and 84 Diner...both great food.

I'm down your way for work everyday...in the Northvale/Orangeburg area.

Maybe we'll catch up sometime...

Hi Patrick, (I'm fairly certain that either I'll see your truck around or vise-versa!)

I just informed my wife (Lisa) of the incredibly disturbing news about "Johnny D's" and the decline of it's stellar reputation. It represented an era during the mid to late nineties for us. We were only dating each other back then... most everything we did was lighthearted and just for the purpose of fun in those days... "she was 'quite naturally' very disappointed to learn of "Johnny D's" decline, as was I... Thanks for letting me know though Pat! We haven't been up there in years and with this news, we won't be going back!

PS: My apologies to the OP for the O/T sidebar... 'twas completely unintended!

Cheers to all!

I myself am debating between Go Rhino D360T and Smittybilt beaver step. They both look good, Rhino little better than beaver step. Does anyone have any experience with Rhino step? My use is to protect rear bumper from collision and use it as a step.

Mine, just not in place as fishin' cooler/rod rack in receiver now.

I haven't put one on this vehicle yet. Seems like whenever I would in the past, sometime later I'd notice that some sleazy lowlife had stolen it. :gun5:

There are some very clever ones displayed in this thread, however.

I'm obsessed with dinosaurs....:ybrick:

Before:

...and after a 16 year old girl (texting) rear ended me on her way to school... Punched a nice, square hole in her bumper.
