Level 8 MK6

SCS stealth 6 were definitely in my top 3...unfortunately cost ended up being my deciding factor.

I had to take my car back to the shop this morning. Walked out to the car this morning and my back right tire was half flat!

I guess you could look at it that way...hopefully it is fixed now. They said the TPMS on that particular wheel was not tightened down correctly, this causing the leak. Hopefully it's fixed now. Maybe I should check the lugs to make sure those are tight....

Yep, I always re-torque my wheels. Not that I don't trust the kid who put them on, I just don't trust the kid who put them on. May all your tires be full of air tomorrow.

Here are some quick iPhone pics for the impatient...

Those wondering if a 17x8, 0mm offset wheel with 285/70/17 Duratracs will rub....the answer is yes

Maybe I should clarify....you can tell from the pic that the tire obviously touches the body mount at full lock. However, I have not felt or heard any rubbing/vibration during every day driving, turning, parking, etc...so I am happy with that. I am sure that any off camber situation and/or moderate off roading will most certainly result in obvious rubbing. Looks like I just need to find time to visit Ducmonsta.....

Nice wheels..just don't care for the "8" that much on them. Pretty sure that can be customized somehow with vinyl or something??

The 8 can easily be remedied. I may hit the center caps with some plasti-dip or some type of Vinyl decal. In the grand scheme of things, they really don't bother as much as I thought they would. It has also been pouring down rain, so I haven't had much time to take in the overall outcome too closely.

Just an FYI also...the 8 is a silver/grey color on these black wheels. Not sure if it is different on any of the other finishes. from the pics I saw online, I personally thought the 8 was going to be white...which I would have liked a little better to match my 4runner. Anyway, just thought I would throw that in.

Wow! Love the look! I just ordered mine today with -10 and will be running a narrower duratrac than you. Can't wait to get them on.

Thank you for the kind words. I think anyone would be disappointed with these wheels who is looking for the 6 spoke look. The 8 center cap is an acquired taste, buy can easily be modified or removed.

discounttiredirect has a hell of a price on just about anything right now with their $100 prepaid VISA and $50 prepaid VISA rebates going on. you can get the LEVEL 8 MK6 for under $500 after rebates! Geez...that's what I get for being impatient!

Yes I am psyched about the visa gift card too.

The biggest thing with me is I would only put a bronze rim on my SUV, and there are basically only like 2 out there in 17x8 -10 that is not some crazy expensive custom Volk rim or something. These fit my needs perfectly.

Shout out to Discounttiredirect customer service....

I just called to ask if there was any that I could take advantage of the current promotion even though I bought my wheels last week. Unfortunately, they could not extend the newest $100 discount, but they freely offered to credit me back $50. It's not the $430 price tag I could have getten them for had I bought them today...but for $495 I am still extremely pleased with the price, fast delivery and customer service.

Have any better pics come up from this setup or dp other owners have this combo...given the black friday savings and good year tire rebate, I'll likely be going a Gunmetal/(265) Duratac set this weekend.

thanks! couldn't make out the wheels on the first few. Thinking I'll go matte Gunmetal for my MG TE.

Those look awesome. When I bought my wheels last year (Level 8 Strike 6), they didn't make the MK 6 yet..that what I get for being impatient!
I've been completely satisfied with mine for the past year, and for the price I don't think you can beat them.
