Leveling kit for SR5 Premium?

I recently picked up a 40th Anniversary Edition (SR5 Premium) and am looking to get a leveling kit for it. I'm not planning on lifting the rear of the vehicle at all, so I am trying to find the right height lift kit for the front. I've seen kits ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 inches, which is the correct height?

If anyone could recommend a specific leveling kit that includes a front diff drop I'd appreciate it!

2" to 2.5" is the right lift for the front to level it. With that amount of lift, you don't need a differential drop.

I got the Rough Country leveling kit for my SR5 Premium which includes a 1" lift for the back too. Even though they advertise it is 2.5" on the front, I ended up more like 3" on the front. I really like it. I have never had any problems with it.

Just be sure to get a good wheel alignment after installation of any leveling kit.

Is it really that bad with the stock suspension? I rarely trailer anything, and I'm not planning on having heavy loads in the trunk.

We did the Bilstein 5100 all around and it sits as perfectly level as possible.
Fronts were in the 2nd groove, all OEM springs.
Loaded with a 160# rooftop tent and camping gear you see very little difference.

leveling the Runner

I put rubber spacers in the front springs on my 2010 4R Trail. Inexpensive, and easy to install. Haven't tried to level my newest runner. I'm told that lifting the front can mess up the sensor in the grill that tracks cars in front of you. I would think that one or two inches should not mess up anything. Still checking.

When you raise your front suspension’s static height to be “level” any acceleration or having some weight in the back will produce squat. This is the sole reason why I always have my rear sitting 2” higher than the front.

I'm lifted 3" in the front without diff drop.
