Its going to be incorporated into the crossbar instead of bolt-on, just a little cleaner design. Basically what is pictured here (but this is the full). Nothing wrong with the bolt-on, I just thought it would be nicer for the complete racks for it to be incorporated from the beginning.

Agreed, I think this look's great!

I'm definitely looking at becoming a customer. My only hang up is deciding between the 7/8 or full rack. Thanks for the response!
 
Well, work has been super busy so I haven't gotten my rooftop tent (Tepui) on it or anything else for that matter. So, no hard use on it yet.

So far, no issues with it as-is as I drive the truck around. It sits in the driveway all day in the SoCal sun (I work from home). So far so good. Wind noise is minimal/normal for a rack like this. More than stock, but not bad at all.

I did put a different light bar on it. A 37 inch single row replacing the ultra-thin bar I put on temporarily. I used the mounts that came with the new bar as the second-gen mounts from LFD wouldn't work with that bar length as they impacted the bolt heads of the bolt-on wind deflector. I like the deflector, but wish it was integrated into the front bar on the rack.

Thanks! We're recommending either the 7/8 or the Full if you have a sunroof. The 3/4 will technically work, but you'd have to position the faring farther back so it won't interfere with the sunroof in the vent position.

Was there ever a change with these? I do love the look of the black bolts, as well. Just curious.

Interesting, so no issues with either of the longer ones with the vent position? Wouldn't the 7/8 be right on top of it?

And for the full, it looks like there's no drilling, does it just have feet that rest on the tracks toward the front for support?

No. Literally none of our suppliers carries those bolts in stainless. Its either black oxide, which rusts pretty quick, or these. :(

We could go to a different style of bolt and get stainless, but then you're back to a two-tool install.

No issues with venting with the 7/8 or full. The faring on the 7/8 does end at about the front 1/3 of the sunroof, but there's enough clearance still when vented that it doesn't interfere. The 3/4 also actually clears the rear of the sunroof by about 2mm when vented, but there's enough deflection from the wind at 60+ mph that it can tap the sunroof when vented.

The feet on the full do just rest on the track. Like I said above, they're really not even technically needed, that's how rigid the rack is. One of our 4Rs is running without the front feet. You can put a little bit of upwards tension on the front of the rack with them during the install and make it that much more rigid.

With some cardboard, a can of spray paint and about 2 minutes anyone can have black bolts if they want them

I was kind of thinking Plastidip might work alright, but actually dipping not spraying. Not sure which would be more durable.
