License plate relocation wiring

I've got a ORO license plate relocation light and I'm looking for advice on how to wire it. It's got a green wire for the tail/license plate light, a red wire for the brake and a black for the ground.

I think I should tap into the trailer plug on the truck, but which wires and how.
The light instructions are for a JK, so not much help. The kit comes with quick solder connections too.

Thanks!

I found the correct wires on the trailer plug. White for ground yellow for brake and green for running lamps. I tested the bare wires of the light on the plug blades and they all matched up to their function.

24 awg wire on the light harness so I spliced in some 16 with the solder seal connectors. 20181201_143025.jpg

Then I'll use these taps to connect the 16 to the trailer harness. 20181201_143134.jpg

By wiring it up this way, does your brake light blink on 1 turn signal and not the other? I noticed on the trailer wiring diagram it’s either right turn/stop or left turn/stop.

Hoping to either eliminate the blinking or combine them. The one or the other does something with my OCD [emoji28]
