Life span of new suspension?

Ok this may be a dumb question. I'm looking at new suspension/lift for my runner. I'm thinking of something like maybe the toytec ultimate or similar.

My question is, if I drop 1000+ on suspension what can I reasonably expect from it for life?

I know it all depends but I'm going to be daily driving the runner for atleast the next year with occasional light off roading, because lets face it....the DFW area is pretty dang flat and not a lot off trails.
In a year or so I'm planning to get a new truck and let this become more a hunting lease/trail toy. With plans to eventually move back east to where there are some decent trails.
I'd just like to know that if/when I go home and have the opportunity to play more I won't have to spend more cash on suspension. If thats the case I'm going to go cheaper/more stock height until I can dedicate it to off roading and not put 40-50 miles a day on it.

If its Toyota parts over 10 years or 100,000 miles.

Bilstien shocks come with a lifetime warranty I believe.

If you go with cheap off brand coils you may get different results.

My tundra and LC coils still work like a charm and it has been about 6 years.

I'm not sure how long exactly a coilover type shock in the front will last, but they are rebuildable? I'm not sure how much it costs to rebuild/revalve a coilover. I'm familiar with the costs of two wheeled suspension...

The Sororan Steel kit is made up of all new OEM Toyota parts (springs, shocks) and/or Bilstein parts. There are tons of 100-150k trucks out on the road with original parts, so in that case I'd say you're good for 100k miles or more unless you beat the snot out of it.

The Toytec kit a combination of Bilstein and OME suspension bits, and I know from personal experience that OME is at least as durable as OEM Toyota, so you're probably in the same boat there. The only thing I'm not sure on is who manufactures the Toytec front springs, but I think they're Eibach, which I have also used in the past with no troubles at all.

Cliffs notes: as long as you buy a reputable lift (SS or Toytec) it should last as long or longer than stock toyota suspension parts. BTW, the first part to go will be the shocks, which is why Bilstein is good. They can be rebuilt/revalved without replacing the whole thing.

Thanks guys. Now I've just gotta save my pennies for a couple months. I'd like to the lift, lbj, tie rods, maybe upper control arms and tires all at the same time.

$2k if you're lucky, I'd say closer to $3k for all that stuff and a bag of peanuts.
