Finally
After having my truck for 3 years and reading about all the great things you guys have done with your trucks I finally completed the lift (including a brake job) on my 2007 Limited 4runner 4x4. I couldn't have done it without this website. Thank goodness for the internet. I am somewhat mechanically inclined but haven't attempted anything like this before on such a nice vehicle and a daily driver.
Tires are Hankook DynaPro ATM 265/70/17 Lift is Daystar 2.5" front 1.5" rear, spidertrax spacers.
Had to adjust the headlights because of the lift and modify the wheel wells because of the spidertrax.
I got the mod bug now.

Is it just me or do your back tires look bigger than the fronts?

Yeah, it kinda does... must be an optical illusion? Maybe because the rear wheel is dirtier and the white letters aren't visible?

Off Topic: How are you liking those Rocky Mount bike racks? I just picked up a set on Ebay (the older Noose SLs) as I have only heard great things about them. I'm still a little nervous about forgetting them up there though. However, they will only be used as backups as I still have the T2.

Still a long way to go to catch up to a lot of you on here.

Thank you. I could not fit the spare below. Had to go up but I will be moving it to the interior if it fits. Weighs a lot to get up and down.
Ooops...my bad, I just looked at your roof rack and noticed the spare up top.
(I was asking cause I too wanna upgrade to 285s and thought maybe you figured out something other hadn't).

I wish I had figured out some other alternative but that's why I am upgrading very soon to an OME heavy duty suspension for the front and rear metal bumpers. Rear bumper having the swing gate (CBI rear).

Thanks AI*Phoenix, yes it is, we had so much trouble trying to get this to work, every time we try and paint it with ppg paint and clear, the paint cracks as soon as the clear goes on...other than that i love it, i get a lot of people saying that they dont though
FJ coils
New guy here, so whats the deal with the FJ coils are the beefy-er or bigger? go you just need to get the same year ar your 4 runner?

FJ Cruiser Offroad edtion coils and shocks(silver Bilstein). BFG A/T KO 265/75/16
cost: $100 for everything, include the complete assembled front strut assembly.
3/4" front, 1" rear. firmer ride, cheap and effective, done by 3 hours by myself in the drive way with simple tools.
FJC front shock assembly(silver) vs. stock SR5 (black): coils have same amount of wraps, but FJC coil has thicker wire.
FJC rear coils have 1 extra wrap, also thicker wire, but same length as stock SR5 4Runner unloaded.
