Daystar 2.5/1.5 on 265/65s
just installed it yesterday and I'm extremely happy with the way it looks

Finally tweaked the suspension a bit on my new (to me) 2006 V8 4x4. I wanted to take a different approach on this one as opposed to my first 4th Gen (shown way back on page 28 of this same thread), in that I wanted to keep the ride height similar to stock, but I wanted the suspension to be a little beefier and firmer all around instead of just adding a spacer.

I ended up doing FJ springs and 5100's set to 0.85". Tires are BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A's in 265/65/18. I love the tread, they look great in person. All around I gained about 3/4" in the rear, and 2" up front. The factory rake is greatly reduced. Ride is superb.

I guess not as badass looking as some other trucks on here, but I don't need anything ridiculous for my purposes.

Nice! What are your measurements now? (I also have a Nautical Blue 2006 v8 btw).

My (very unscientific) measurements worked out to the following. These were measured from the ground to the center of the wheel well, as best I could determine it. These numbers could be off by as much as 1/4" depending on the angle of my head to the measuring tape, how close I was to center, etc.

BEFORE:
Driver front: 33"
Passenger front: 33.25"
Driver rear: 35"
Passenger rear: 35.25"

AFTER LIFT, STOCK TIRES:
Driver front: 34.125"
Passenger Front: 34.25"
Driver rear: 35.75"
Passenger rear: 36"

AFTER LIFT + TIRES:
Driver front: 35
Passenger front: 35.25
Driver rear: 36.5
Passenger rear: 36.75

I agree that nautical blue is the best color. It's certainly the fastest. olice:

It will sit a little higher, but not a huge amount. It will look good, go for it!

That's the plan for this year. I'm getting tired of the front bottoming-out over speed bumps and sharp dips.

after 3 months of waiting and saving money it has 3" spacers in the front and 1.5" in the rear with a set of Synergy 1.5" hub centric spacers and a set of 285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer STT's with white letter out and 20% tint in the front and 35% tint on top of factory tint in the rear.

Been meaning to do this for a while, but finally got around to uploading my lift/tire pics... I bought her on 11/11/11 and over the past year have added a bunch of items. Check my sig for info on what's been done. Still need to do the blacked out headlight mod and also tint my front windows, but she's coming along. 1st photo is stock the day I got her and the other two are from a couple weeks ago.
