found a set of these on CL today i'm contemplating... are they loud and do they suck on the hwy? looks like a sweet deal for 5 tires

(5) BF Goodrich KM Mud Terrains 255/75/17

They are better than what I expected on road, so pretty smooth, and you can hear the noise but its nothing compared to my friends Hankook Dynapro MTs, suckers are loud!

what's your mpg look like/how is the road noise?

I do like 40% city driving, 50% hwy and 10% offroad, i'm just thinking they may be overkill.

Lost about 2mpg with the addition of lift, tires and BajaRack.

Road noise is ok, just a mild humm.

Overall happy with them for general use.

Hah about that. But yes im running the readylift because at the time thats all my budget would allow me but im a fan of all the toytec stuff and that will be my next setup and im a sucker for windshield banners and stickers.

Check out the "New England B.S thread" if you already havent. Lots of guys around us. Also check out "Absolute Yota" hes in CT aswell and he may be closer to you than me haha. But nevertheless, 50 minutes is hell of a lot better than across the county.

Im going to have trouble making it to any too. School is coming up and im working weekends because thats the only time i can work and 10.5- 11.5 mpgs city is not wallet friendly when it comes to gas... so well see what happens. id love to go though.

Get rid of the flowmaster and you will gain magical MPG's, I guarantee you that. The flowmasters don't give enough back pressure so it screws your MPG's up. I'm getting 17mpg with 33's and a magnaflow

Well the thing is I was getting the same mileage (maybe .5mpgs more) with the stock muffler before I picked up the super 10. Im pretty sure the mileage info the car gives me is off by a little. I should be getting at least 13. (I hope!)

OME 884/895 with Bilstein 5100

Finally got rid of the Truxxx spacer lift and went with an OME lift. Couldn't be happier. Good height and ride. Also built a customer set of adjustable sway bar end links and installed some G2 Axel & Gear wheel spacers. Now just need bigger tires.

Ply2win, love the mk6's thinking about those myself! Looks good, I noticed the pic of your 5100's, is that how you mounted them? This topic came up with someone else, looks like the spring sleeve at the bottom I'm spring is upside down, that could be unsafe! Someone else chime in?

They're set on the .85 setting. The back is 3/4 inch taller. Really happy with the setup for now, we'll see how long that last lol
