How do you clean the wheels when it's time to wash the truck? I was thinking if you try to scrub brake dust off wouldn't you take the plasti-dip off as well?

I opted to go a little bit taller with the 75's after talking to the guys at ICON and also FNwheels (great customer service) to make sure my future plans would work out. When I was checking the tires out at the shop while dropping off some other parts, I noticed just how tall they are. It's going to be interesting and an adventure. I'm sure there is going to to be quite a bit of trimming and maybe even a body chop in the future. I don't mind being added to the column of guinea pig and tell my tale along with some pictures.

I just installed a set of 75's and love the fit. Do you have or plan on adding a BL? Even with 4.25/3.25" lift i still need to chop the body mount and trim a little more of the fender liners, im surprised theres anything left of them. I wanted to fill out the wheel wells without going up to a 315 and the 75's get the job done. The MT's should look great and perform very well.

Thanks! Ive only clocked about 25 miles so far but they ride much smoother than the Destinations. Bumps are soaked up and i can definitely notice the extra inch in height. I can tell a little decrease in "get up and go" but its nothing to worry about. Glad i have the V8! The plan is to regear and lock the rear down the road.

Daystar Leveling Kit Installed

Just finished my Daystar Leveling Kit Installation. I ordered it used on eBay, and thought I was getting the Daystar Comfort Ride 1" Budget Boost KT09117BK. After looking at the finished product, I think I actually received the front spacers for the Daystar 2.5" Front 1.5" Rear Lift Kit. The spacers look just like the picture from the lift kit and not the ones from the leveling kit.

Took about 4 hours to install after I stripped a nut on the strut tower like an idiot. Only real difficulty was re-installing the lower strut bolt by myself. The lift raised the front exactly 2" on both sides. The stance is so much less girly now, and I'm satisfied. There's about a 1/2" rearward rake now when measuring at the running boards, so I'll probably install spacers on the rear also when I buy 265/70R17 tires.

[MENTION=61654]Casper421[/MENTION] I wasn't planning on doing a body lift and see where I am on the lift as a whole. I knew there was going to be quite a bit of altering. The 4runner goes into surgery tomorrow. I also don't really rock crawl here in Florida seeing that we only have stand dunes. Instead I plan mostly for the hunt camp trails and driving on the beach, so hopefully not too much flexing and rubbing. We do have steep driveways... Sometimes. If it is an issue I'll have to install a body lift seeing as I do hope to take the 4runner on some trails.

Thanks for the pics of the 75s. The look is exactly what I was hoping to find. Seeing your truck makes me that much more impatient.

I just went from 275/70/17 BFG ATs to 285/70/17 GY Duratracs and had to lose all the mud flaps. My tires will rub a little on a full flex also. I basically chopped out most of the front fender liner also to get rid of rubbing while turning. I'm waiting for my Shrockworks bumper to be built, so knew I was going to be cutting most of the fender liner anyways.

My back tires will rub when stuffed from flexing, and the fronts also have left some marks from rubbing the backside even without flaps.

I'm running the toytec ultimate 3/2 without any BL, and sit around 39" from ground to fender (24" from hub center to fender). Also my aftermarket wheels brought the tires out around an inch or so.

Also, for a little close to home fun check out Osceola National forest Jeep trails....really tight with lots of water crossings but it's worth the short drive from Jax.
