Daystar 2.5/1.5 with Stock Tire Size
Got my Daystar 2.5/1.5 installed. It was a breeze minus re-installing the front shock into the LCA. A 2x4 helped tremendously in prying the LCA down low enough. The bottle jack trick on the rear was a life saver. Still have the factory tires for now, but FJ springs and shocks are on the way and tires are coming soon. Here's some pics...

Thing looks sweet what size and what kind of tires are those??
Hopefully someone can help me. I'm getting general at2 tires soon but I'm not good with fitment. I currently have 265/70/17 with a 2.5"/1.5" daystar level kit. With my current setup can I fit 275/70/17? I'm also getting a 1.25" wheel spacers shortly after unless I can only fit the tires with them on
I'm also wondering the same thing.
Also curious. I'll be installing the same level kit and spacers next weekend, and I'm researching tire options.
This might be blasphemy... but... In the opposite fashion of you guys with a lift, does anyone know of a rear end drop?
I don't 4x4 offroad, mainly just fireroads and places to take my kayak and bikes, or get to hiking trailheads, but I also really like performance cars. I recently fell in love with youtube videos of the SRT8 Cherokee, and I'm thinking... There's a TRD supercharger, I've got a 4x2 4runner, why can't I make my own SRT killer?
The only thing that i've really come to any issue with is the rear "bubble butt" that the 4runner seems to have,

I really want the same fitment in the rear that I have in the front, without losing a lot of functionality. I honestly think 1-1.5" would be enough to be perfect, but I'm really lost.
I only found one thread with people talking about airbags and other crap, I'm not looking to lowrider the truck, just even it out a bit.
Any rumors/ideas/musings you guys have heard?
