2008 Limited

My 4th T4R: Started with a 1987 (my favorite), then a 1990 (sold with 186K), on to 1993 (sold with 230k) and now this 2008 (currently at 96K). So far, 50% tint on front windows, new timing belt/water pump, all fluids changed, 2 new front brake calipers, GX470 driveshaft swap, Daystar 3" front/2" rear lift and Spidertrax wheel spacers. Still sitting on stock sized Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts (waiting for a bit more wear before upsizing to 265/65/18's - brand TBD, suggestions welcome!). Considering painting the wheels smokey gray.

Here she is enjoying Carova Beach, NC a couple weeks back.

Just replaced my beat up 265/70R17's with 285/75R16 Goodyear Duratracs on gunmetal Level8 MK6's.

I upgraded my tires as well with duratracs, I went with 285/70/17
I really like them so far.

Switched wheels from my 3rd gen. Feels more like a truck now. Waiting for my dystar leveler and will install that with fj coils. Should be the exact amount of lift I am looking for.

I have gone through 150 pages on this thread and I haven't found this set up yet. just curious if anyone has this set up and can post pictures:

OME 883 Front Coil Springs
90000 OME Front Struts
60004 OME Rear Shocks
OME 895E Rear Coil Springs

It should provide about a 2-inch lift all around.

I'm also wondering if the 5100's would be a better option than the OME's??

From the research I did, the OME883's aren't really recommend for the 4th gen T4R's and I couldn't find any examples of anybody running them on a 4th gen. The 884's seem to be the way to go, especially on your V8 equipped T4R. You will probably end up with ~2.5" lift.

For the Rears, the Toytech Superflex's seem to be the way to go. Most state the OME's are too stiff unless you have a lot of extra weight in the rear?

As for Shocks, I believe the OME's are considered higher quality but most seem happy with the 5100 and unless you are doing a lot of offroading, I doubt the OME's are worth the extra$?

Just keep in mind, this is all from the research I've done. Not first hand experience.
