Thanks! At this moment I don't, still have the OEM full size spare underneath. Debating if I should get one more trdpro wheel wrapped in 285 but I don't know if it'll fit underneath.

Heres our current status on our Ultra4 build.

We have 35/12.5 R17 General Grabbers on Black Rhino's Primm Beadlocks

Currently, No lift, but will have a pretty nice setup in the coming weeks.

I finally replaced the original suspension on my 07 SR5 V6 4WD with 155K miles. I did all kinds of research including Bilstein 5100s, Eibachs, KYBs w/ lift, etc. Finally, I found Ironman 4x4 and took advantage of a sale they were having for their Nitro Gas 2" suspension lift kit. I also had purchased some 2018 T4R wheels/tires that were a take-offs that I put on. They're a tad taller than the stock 265/65/17s. Overall, I'm really happy with the new suspension and wheels. The ride is so much higher and it handles so much better! I was bottoming out (hitting bump-stops) all the time on basic speedbumps. Now, I never feel the bump-stops. I did the install myself, it was a learning experience since I've never done anything like this before, but I'm glad I did it.

265/70/R17 vs 285/70/R17 for Daily Driver 2003

Getting a Rough Country 3 inch leveling kit installed next week. I'm putting GY Wrangler DuraTrac tires on my OEM wheels. Can't decide between 265 or 285. Any recommendations based on it being a daily driver? Also I want it to look good.

265/70 will fit fine but may look a tad small. It's what I'm running at the moment and I'm definitely gonna be upgrading to 285/70s in the future. For a daily though (for the sake of weight/gas mileage) I'd keep it at 265.

285/70 isn't gonna fit if you have stock wheels and offset. You'd need spacers to clear your spindle. The 265s almost hit it already.

I will say, not a huge fan of those lifts. I'd go with at least a shock/spring setup if you plan to do any offroading.

To fit wider 285 tires, you'll need to get a wheel spacer (different from your strut spacer) that pushes the wheel further out in the wheel well. Otherwise your tire will not even be able to be mounted because it hits suspension pieces.

Nice looking ride. Personally, I don't think they look too small at all with 265. I had to go ahead and buy the new tires so I'll go with a 265 setup myself. Seeing your ride put me at ease. Thanks for sharing.
