Here is my 2003 Limited with Toytec Boss 3” lift, JBA upper control arms, 17” SCS Ray 10 wheels in matte dark bronze and 285/70/17 Maxxis Razr MT tires. My buddy and I installed the lift this weekend. I’m really stoked with how it turned out.

It rides really well around town and on the highway. A little stiffer than stock, which is a good thing. The tires have a little hum but aren’t noticeable when you’re talking or have the radio on.

Front Level Kit

Over the weekend a friend and I were able to level out the front with a spacer kit. I replaced my XREAS with Bilstein 5100s all around. Toytec 2.5" front springs and Daystar 2" rear spacers (likely to be replaced with new springs eventually)

PS. I'm aware there's no bushing atop the upper mount in the spring compressor pic. Just mocking it up for a picture. It's on there now :cheers:

nice truck. i AIR bnb arizona (tempe, scottsdale, sedona, grand canyon, flagstaff) with an ex and flagstaff was awesome!!! went to the mexican resturaunt from diners driveins and dives and ate an inappropriate amount of food. loved visiting there.

Thanks, the trails in Sedona are awesome and definitely a challenge

any trimming?

It rubbed pretty bad in front of the tire and behind the tire at first. I had it aligned to 4.3 caster. Then I removed the front mud flaps, trimmed the inner fender in front of the tire and moved it forward (unhooked original clips and screws, drilled a new hole further forward, reinstalled clips and screws).

Now in front of the tire never rubs. Behind the tire does not rub on a flat surface but any kind dip causes it to rub on the frame. It isn't bad and is definitely driveable as is, but I'm going to have to join the body mount chop club some day.

2008 SR5 4.0 4x4
Duratracs in 265 70-17 with Bilstein 5100 lift kit with front set at 2.5" and rear is the 1.8" springs. The lift install just got done about 15 minutes before this pic so the rear end will settle and lower down a bit soon.

Did you order these on bilstein lifts.com? I saw your pic on there and was wondering which rear springs you got 1.8 or 2.3. How does the set up work? Did you change anything? Now im confused i could have sworn you had the 2.3. I order the same set up and should be arriving this friday and installed this weekend. I been back and forth if I made the right decision on the back spring. I went with the 1.8. How does the front feel with the setting at 2.5. Glad i ran into your post because i was gonna put it at 1.75 3rd clip.

It's completely stock and I'm looking for tires I currently have 265/65/17 but 265/70/17 is way cheaper can I run that.

I mounted some Falken Wildpeaks on TRD wheels. Nothing creative here but I'm super happy with the outcome. I was surprised at the size difference.
