Can you tell me more about your retrofit, what did you use other then the LS430 projectors?

just finished my mods. i bought this about '07 about 2 weeks ago. installed daystar 3/2 lift, airlift 1000 air bags, 1.25" spacers, 275 good year tires and sand blasted and painted the rims my self

Was going to wait until the stock long trails ran out, but got such a great deal on TA KO's I couldn't resist


The LAST thing I want to do is tint the front. In a few years I may black out the rims and get some sliders.

I'm looking at doing the exact same thing except instead of the daystar lift I think I'll go with bilstein 5100s.

Occasionally... sitting still, cranking the tires, it clears fine. Going through turns, over bumps, into parking stalls, it rubs a little. I've checked and still can't find exactly where as it isn't showing any signs of scraping/rubbing I can see. I understand that the plastic fender liners can be loosened and adjusted ever so slightly to cure this. If I get a chance soon, I will try it and let you know.

I had the same problem with 265/70R17s & spidertraxx, found it to be the inside corner on the back of the front fender flare needed trimming. It was only on the driver side for some reason but I trimmed both sides for symmetry. May not be the same for you just thought I'd throw it out there.
