lift for 5th gen

I know icon makes a lift but it is extremely expensive. who else makes a lift for the 5th gen 4runner and what about are the prices. i am looking for a 3inch to fit 33" tires. I have a 2012 limited.

There are probably well over 100 threads covering lifts of all types for your 5th gen. Your best bet is using the Google search bar at the top of the page as the board search option sucks to say the least. Another option is to read through members build threads for ideas.

Once you have an idea of which direction you want to go then I think you'll find that most everyone here will chime in with ideas and opinions but you'll need to do some of your own research first.

Unfortunately, besides the Jeremy556 brand spacers, Icon is the only option. Fortunately, the Jeremy556 lift spacer kit is avail for about $100 below the Icon stage1 kit, just shoot me a PM :welcome:

I can't recommend the Jeremy556 lift enough. My only gripe is that the runner now sits slightly lower than stock.

i was reading your thread and i am in visioning something like your build is what i am looking for. what stage is your Icon lift? and what truly are the differences between all of the stages.

My suggestion would be to (1) check some of the vendor sites (i.e. Metal Tech, Wheeler's Offroad, Toytec, etc.) (2) If you see something you like, come back here and search for it.

Chances are someone has experience with what you are looking for and it is already posted somewhere on the site. I never post unless I have a question that does not appear to have been answered or if I have some experience with a question that comes up from another member.

It is only your second post and you have asked two questions that have been covered (as mentioned before) 100's of times. It is unnecessary to re-post info like this. It only makes it harder for other members to weed through the BS to get to the real info.

I have a 2011 sr5 4wd and just put on a ready lift 3" front 2.5" rear. Worked great. A little pricy though. I had the work done so labor cost as much as the lift. It is a must to have your front end re aligned. Another $60 bucks but worth it. The book says I can go to a 32" tire without trimming. I plan to go to a 285 and stop there.

the easiest way and quickest way to lift your car is get some nice 6x6 pieces of lumber and put it between your emergency jack and your jack points and jack away. best 10 dollars spent, you dont even have to buy a floor jack ! :girl:

You must not have seen the price of an Icon lift if you are saying your spacer kit was expensive :jaw drop:
