First time to use Forum! I have a 2011 Toyota 4runner SR5 4WD. We just added a RevTech 3" Lift Kit. I am now in the market for new tires. Looking at NittoTerra Grappler 285/75/17 on OEM rims. 33.87" overall diameter 11.5" wide. Any thoughts or suggestions on the largest tire I can use without any cutting?

Just need to move the fender liner and you can stuff 37s, no problem.
Seriously, without any modification, 275/70/17. 285/70/17 with moving the fender liner, and likely body mount chop. I'm going to say without fairly major cutting and new upper control arms, you aren't going to fit 285/75/17

Use the search function at the top and look around - also search the "stickys" at the beginning if this forum for tire fitment guide. I know that you are OK with a 285/75 17, but not sure if that next jump is ok or not.

Jeremy - is it your impression that 285/75 17s will not fit under the 4R without doing a lot of work? My lift goes on in 2 weeks, but I am currently running those tires without lift and only minimal rubbing (no fender liner move yet, either).
BUT this is only street driving so far - no flexing.
Maybe I am in for more than a lift...

You can run 285/70/17 without lift, but you will get lots of rubbing when flexing. Lifting doesn't really help with rubbing anyway, unless you extend bumpstops or change steering geometry with different control arms.

I wrote incorrectly - meant 285/70 17s . They are BFGs (I believe Toyo does that size also)
I plan on moving the fender liners and edging the tires forward on alignment and THEN adjusting bump stops if I need to. Hope it works.
With the FJ the tire width was the issue - as long as you didn't go wider than 285 you could get by easy, regardless of height.

I just documented it. It was all the threads and guys who were retrofitting that did the research.

I put 285/70/17 Duratrac's on my 2013 TE. Installed an Icon lift, took the rear mud-flaps off and had an enormous amount of rubbing. Got the body mounts trimmed as well as a LOT of plastic trimming. Continued to trim plastic periodically until most of the rubbing was gone. Eventually installed Icon UCA's so that I could have the caster adjusted, which finally did eliminate all rubbing (I think). I do wheel it regularly so any rubbing should show up where it might not otherwise do so if I was only driving it around town.

285/70/17 BFG TA KO - I got them installed today, no rubbing anywhere yet...
Couple things:
Load E is overkill for most go with D if given the chance.
My power loss is not near as bad as I thought it would be. Like I have really noticed any - but I live in Oklahoma and it's flat here.
They are just as quite as factory.
Feels much more secure to the road.
