Here's my Pro with the CornFed 2"/1" kit and 285 17s. It came with all needed hardware. It looks like negative rake to me, so David at cornfed said I can swap the 1" rears for 2" for $30. Great customer service.

I hate to ask this, but do you have a picture that is more centered on the side of the vehicle (that one seems more up by the front quarter panel), and from the sunny side?

I have the 2/1 kit for my TRDP also (not yet installed). After lookinv at that pic, the wife and I also think it would look better with the 2" rear also!

Perhaps I missed it in the thread and I didn't see any details on the site. The 1" leveling kit, how thick is the spacer? Is it 1"? This would result in a near 2" increase, correct? My front is approx 2 1/8" lower than the rear, but I don't want it exactly level. I would like the rear to still be about 1/2" higher so I'm looking to raise the front only about 1 1/2". Would that mean I need a spacer about 3/4"? Thanks in advance for clearing this up!!

You are incorrect, (man that sounds mean) I saw this in a nice tone The 1" front is .50" thick. The front spacers are half the thickness of the actual lift it gives for the front. The rear's are a 1/1 ratio, meaning 1" is 1". call or text me at 717-319-2100 for more info.

Do these come with longer bolts for install?

Not needed for this kit, just use stock bolts and we include low profile nuts and everything fits together perfectly. ALSO, the 1" front doesn't require spring compressors for install.

No offense taken. I'm wrong a lot. That's why I ask!! At least I was correct about the 2:1 ratio.

Just to be clear, your 1" leveling kit brings the front up approximately 1" with a 1/2" spacer. The install of this spacer DOESN'T require the disassembly of the strut, since new (longer) studs aren't required because you supply lower profile nuts that use the existing studs? Similar kits to this indicate strut disassembly since the studs must be swapped, right? Also, with this small of a lift, a diff drop is not required/recommended? (I believe this to be true because the stock angle of the cv shafts are negative anyway. This may actually flatten it out...?)

I just ordered tires yesterday, so I'll wait to get those installed and re-measure everything before purchasing a leveling kit.

You are correct and no diff drop is needed, but if you'd like one, we can make you one.

Also, other compaines may be making a 1" spacer that is 1" thick and they don't realize it will double when installed. So, your first question actually might be correct for other kits, but they didn't do their research properly.

I got a hold of Jason. I am going to return the kit to swap out 1" rear spacer for the 2" or possibly the 1.5", but we are definitely leaning heavily toward the 2" rear:

1) We have no issue with the slight forward rake of the factory TRDP suspension, and this shouldnt cause a whole lot of change in that regard.

2) Most of our offroad driving is for camping / overlanding. Here, we are usually loaded up with a good 300-400 pounds of dogs and gear in the cargo bay, back seats, and roof rack. Offsetting that with an extra bit of lift will just give us that much more clearance, especially at the rear bumper.

3) True, we are planning on adding full skids and sliders, for a total of about 250lb. Still, I only expect this will drop the front perhaps .25 more than the rear. However, I also intend to add a full-sized matching spare, and permanently mount the hi-lift in the back of the cargo area, together adding about 40-50lb behind the rear axles. Not only should this offset any increased rake from the skids, but itself justifies going with a bit more lift in the rear.

Cant wait to get it all installed! I'll make sure to post plenty of pics.

Lindenwood, I also plan on using mine loaded down quite often. I liked the stock amount of rake & wanted to keep it close to that as well as keeping clearance when loaded. I think the 2" rear will get me there. Good luck with your install

i wonder how the front 2" spacer would look with sway aways in the rear. I hate that the toytec kit isn't level. this kit is more appealing that its more level of a lift

Having read the 40-page Toytec lift thread a couple of times now, it seems most folks are still getting about 2" of lift with the SAW rear springs.

Also, keep in mind, that for the front and rear fenders to be perfectly even, the overall body of the vehicle may appear slightly raked to the rear to some folks.

Jason recommended a 2" front and 1.5" rear spacer setup to level a TRP with no risk of apparent negative rake. I am just going with the 2" for the aforementioned minor functional benefit for my uses.

Below is a pic of ResqPink's truck with a 2/1 kit. My eyeball says the rear fender still has slightly more space above the tire than the front. But, he still identified that truck still just appears on the whole to be slightly leaned back.

A 1.5" rear lift should offset that look, and going 2" should maintain the factory rake.

When I look at a vehicle, I think my eyes go to the rocker. As you can see in my pic, the wheel openings look pretty level, but the rocker looks slightly negative. I guess different people just key in on different areas.

I see what you mean about the rocker but overall it looks pretty level to me, especially if you look at the wheel wells and the bottom of the windows. Parked on level ground, I wonder what a level would look like on top of your roof rail...

I'd never really looked at the roof rack, but it does look just about perfectly level there. As I said, though, this thing is going to be loaded down for much of it's life, I don't want it looking "squatted" when I put a couple of people, dogs or gear in it.

I just ordered the 1" front leveling kit for my stock 2011 SR5. Just bought new Firestone Destination AT tires 265/70/17 tires and want to make sure I won't need an alignment after install as well? Thx
