Leveling the picture and adding straight lines can help...
looks pretty level to me. Although looking at the rocker I do see a variation, higher towards the front than the rear.
Your driveway angle and such maybe making the offset look exaggerated.

When I look at a vehicle, I think my eyes go to the rocker. As you can see in my pic, the wheel openings look pretty level, but the rocker looks slightly negative. I guess different people just key in on different areas.

I'm pretty sure you'll need an alignment.

Great job on the photo. Thanks. I see the reverse rake on the rocker panel. Didn't stand out as much until the lines were drawn. I'm going to find a perfectly level spot and take some measurements, not just of ground to fender, but ground to rocker panel. I may even put a level on the frame... With all of that said, I don't mind a regular rake since I will have bikes, kayaks and gear putting greater load in the rear and I want it at least level after that is done. My initial measurements from ground to fender shows the rear 2 1/8" higher. In theory, after a 1" front lift (1/2" spacer) it should still have a 1 1/8" standard rake. I think that should work if my loads don't pull it down more than an inch...

Reading through this thread I didn't see this info, but just wanted to clarify something that may or may not be obvious (since most of the leveling pictures in this thread are of TRD Pro's).

The TRD pro comes with ~1" lift from the Pro Bilstein suspension. When a 1" leveling kit is put on the Pro essentially will have a 2" front lift.

The stock SR5, Trail/TRD Off Road, and limited start with approximately 2" fender rake and 1" frame rake.

So if you have a TRD pro and do a 1" level you are level with the fenders and will have a slight 1" rake at the frame. On a 2/1 spacer lift The TRD Pros will then have essentially a 3" front lift over non-pros but only a 1" rear lift (giving the reverse rake look). This is why the vendors are suggesting a 2/1.5 or 2/2 lift with the Pro's.

For the other models and stock suspension a 1" level will give you essentially a TRD Pro stance. A 2/1 lift will give you the same "stance" or level as a Pro from factory but lifted 1" front and rear.

Indeed, ResqPink, this is exactly how I was hoping it would look with an equal 2" in both front and rear! I am out of the country, but my wife is packing up our lift to return for 2" rear spacers today. So, hopefully we will have it installed with a couple of pics posted in the next couple of weeks.

Your website says I need a 1" level kit for 265/70 17 tires to fit my 2016 4runner.


My factory tires are already 265/70 17 so why would I need your kit?

Thanks for the feedback on the pro. If anyone wants a 2/2, order the 2/1 on the site and in the NOTES BOX, but "I want a 2/2 on my PRO" etc, and I'll do it for the same price for now!

Also, the tire size shown in the write-up I think was for 03-09 4Runners, ignore that it's incorrect for 5th gen.

Correct. You will not need to upgrade your suspension to fit the original wheels and tires.

Well, look at your truck and see if it bothers you how close the front is to the top of your tires, vs the rear of the truck... The leveling gives 1” front lift to level out the “sagging front end look” of the factory setup. I've sold these to many people with 5th gens that don't really care about lifting much, but want it to look better and more proportioned with the 265/70r17 tires, etc.

Although this looks to be a high quality product, you don't need anything except for a tire upgrade (and honestly not even that) to get you to more places then you would ever want to go. These trucks are more then capable right out of the box. Also read these threads, tons of info. All of the stuff in my thread linked in my signature was done with stock suspension and tires.

And this is the exact reason I bought the 1" Front Leveling Kit only for my 2011 stock suspension SR5. Now that I just purchased new Firestone Destination AT Tires (265/70/17) and put 1.25" wheel spacers all around. I get occasional rubbing when I'm at full chuck backing up so I'm hoping to alleviate that as well as getting the truck level with the rear as the front rake always bothered me.

Oh ya, also the only reason I went with the 1" is my wife has a hard enough time getting in the truck now even with the running boards which I would loos if it were up to me.
