I was able to perform a self install in my garage with ease. The first thing I did after install was to take a test drive and check the ride quality. Honestly, I am not able to tell any difference from the stock ride. Very glad I chose the 2/1 and super pleased with the install and ride.

Great pics and glad you like it. Other kits can give a rough ride from what I've heard, but this does not and ride just like stock.

5th gen lift & leveling kits at Burtman Industries
 
Just picked up a 2018 T4R TRD Premium. Want to at least do the leveling kit, but interested in the 2/1 kit. Is anything else required for the install? Want to keep the stock ride for when my girl daily drives on occasion.

It's a TRD pro? If so, the most popular for the pro is the 1.5/1 - since pro's sit more level than non pro...

call or text me at 717-319-2100 or I can call you an explain it.

Not a TRD Pro, TRD Premium, which I think used to be called Trail Premium.
Sounds like the 2/1 should be the right setup. Any other modifications required, or just bolt on and go?

Look at my post above if you want to see the before /after with the 2/1 for the trail (trd off road). I put 285s (Falken Wildpeaks) on with fn f(x) Pro wheels and rubbed during hard turns. Did some trimming around the wheel well, pushed the front fender liners forward, and removed my front mud flaps. That has eliminated all rubbing issues. I like the 2/1 setup too, nice and level with a bit of lift

Would the 1” spacer for front level my Limited out? Equipped with XREAS.heres some pics. Rake drives me crazy!

Hello Jason, I’ve read all posts in this thread and I did see anything about the installation of your 2/1.5
kit on a 2018 Off Road with KDSS. Anything special about the install other than needing a spring compressor?

From your pics, a 1.5" on your limited would level it. The way these kits are designed it to still have some factory rake, so when you have passengers, or have the back loaded, you would then be "riding level". If you just can't stand having any rake, then yea, the 1.5. Just keep in mind anything over a 1" leveling requires spring compressors for install. SO the 1" front's are the most popular, since they don't require spring compressor, but again, can make any size you want.

Nope. Nothing special needed at all, except the spring compressor. Will work with KDSS.

Just ordered my 1.5” front spacers from burtman! Excellent customer service. Answered all my questions and concerns regarding purchasing! Can’t wait to install. Will post some pics once leveled. Thanks!
 
Love my 1” front spacer. A couple of pics. Will likely go with a 1.5/1 kit from Jason and 275’s when my stock tires need replacing
