Wow man looks REALLY good!! I would have to guess it is the tires that are making the ride so rough. A 10 ply tire is kind of overkill for the 4runner. I see you are in North GA. I am in Nashville and come down to Chattanooga some. I need to check out some good hiking and off road trails down that way! I heard there are quite a few in North GA.

It's common, it's a 1/4 spacer that nets you a half inch lift in the front for a full 3" lift. Got it on mine too. Checkout toyteclifts.com, it's listed with the OME stuff.

from what I read I know its common to run the top plate spacer on the OME 884 but the 885 are taller to begin with. Thats why I was asking if he had 885 and the spacer. I posted a tread yesterday and the couple people that answered said skip the spacer on the 885's if you are all stock weight.

Not taller, they are stiffer. He does have the spacer, as do I.

I called toytec and the 884 and 885 are the same spring rate. They said 885's are a little taller

What do I know right? I only installed them on my truck 6 months ago......

Are you putting them on a v6 or v8? Are you adding any weight later?

im just south of ya in murfreesboro... no too many trails to check out unless you just like gravel roads

Just like zstampe said.. Med spring and 1/4 spacer. I was told by ome that the med weight was "not recommend" unless I was going to put on after market bumpers. I went ahead and did it because I needed all the clearance I could get for those tires.

Those were my 2nd choice of wheels. They look great. If I couldn't find the right tire for the 18's, I was going to buy a used set of those.

The ome nitro ones. I've got 275/70/18 not 265. I couldn't find 265. What company makes that size? It's a TON of cutting. I'll shoot some pictures

Ha! The cv boots won't! It'll be fine though. I took some metal bands and re did mine, haven't leaked since.

where did you order your bands from? Do you know what size you used?

I searched the forums and found some from amazon and west marine.

That's Exactly what I used. I went to the local hardware store and got some and put them on while getting paid at work ha ha.

How are you liking you wet okoles? I've got a set too.

I love them, Had them over 2 years and they are holding up great, they sure are comfortable in the winter instead of cold leather, and they make the stock seat so much more plush IMO
