Lift Question

Greetings all,
Well I am back for more wisdom. So I think I have decided on the Toytec Ultimate lift for my rig. One thing I searched for and didn't come up with any real answers is concerning Drivers side lean. With the kit I am planning on using I assume (never a good thing) that I will be able to adjust the front coilover to compensate for the lean in front. Any recommendations for the rear or the real coils from the complete lift kit take care of this? Any help would be great.

You've made a great choice in the Toy Ulti lift, I have one. Great package altogether.
The fronts are adjustable as you said. The drivers side lean is rarely ever mentioned here(or that I have personally seen-none) but I think my buddy's FJ had that. I have the Toy Ulti and I have it balanced pretty good- not perfect, it never will be exactly perfect.

They do sell a kit for that "lean" but I believe it's targeted towards FJ's.

Good luck and enjoy the new suspension!

Good choice! :D

The front coilovers can definitely be adjusted for the lean. Adjusting the front will also affect the rear as well so you should be able to get it level no problem. One thing to keep in mind though is that pretty much all Toyota's have some lean right from the factory and the difference between a full gas tank and empty can make a difference of a 1/4" or more.

Either way, having the adjustable coilovers is really nice IMHO because then you can fine tune the height and correct for any lean. Also if you end up adding a bumper later on, you can adjust for the extra weight and not have to swap out springs to maintain the 3 inch lift.

Feel free to PM or call us if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Dylan
