Hi, just picked up a 2015 SR5 and love it! looking for recommendation on a good lift to clear 35s. I would like to run a 6" lift if possible. Thank you all in advance!

Lift it a MAX of 3"...do NOT do body lift...Get a nice suspension kit and 285 section tires and call it a day.

There is a member on here with a normal AND body lift... Just like one minor issue that the steering linkage was too short or something like that. Details.

Maybe OP has 2wd, 6" isn't out of the question there right?

:lookout:

TheWraith ran into a few issues with his BL. Essentially it's not recommended. While I would say it may be easier with 2wd, it doesn't solve the steering linkage issue. Justin can weigh in and give you more details. I really wouldn't go past a 3" suspension lift and 285....

I always recommend rough country suspension lifts and interco thornbird tires. Get those for sure!
I love Thornburg but I never go off road

Preferably on the 15" wheels. They look better that way.
will 15" wheels fit?

Do a search you fn prick.
wow, such a warm welcome! Never enough old timers on a forum

Thanks for those that were helpful, this is my 1st 4runner and I want to build it right the first time!

15" rims will not fit the 4-piston calipers in the front. I'm not even sure 16" fit. Best bet is to go with at least a 17x7.5. Ideally 17x8.

I'm sorry, I'm just really upset that one of my buddies got banned. Didn't mean to take it out on some anonymous new guy or anything.

My bad- welcome to the circus!
