Depends on the level of "off roading" you're wanting. Feel free to toss together your own combo of parts, I've seen a lot of folks have success with that route. I went with the Toytec Ultimate a few years back since it was my first lifted vehicle and I wasn't too knowledgeable about all the different combos. If I were to do it again I'd start with this BOSS Lift Kit for '96-'02 4Runner
Do yourself a favor and go with the Bilsteins!
If the rear sags on you too much, you can always ad spacers later. I had to.
Diff drop: yes
Adjustable pan hard: no need IMHO
If this is your first off roader, prepare to spend lots of time with a wrench in one hand and you other in your wallet!
