Lifted 03 Limited with xreas and air leveling

Got my lift done finally!! My 4runner is a 03 Limited with xreas and air leveling. i completely got rid of the xreas for bilstein's, and they ride SOOOOO much better!!! and i used the FSM on adjusting the rear air and just raised it as high as could go. I got a 2.5" lift in the front with the Bilstein 5100's and a 1.5" in the back by lifting the bags... i am super happy with how it turned out!!

now I just need bigger tires...

looks good! Now you need some A/T tires lol the street tires look funny right now. Its ok I did the same thing for a day or two until I had time to go to the shop-

Considering this change as well. Can you elaborate on how they ride better? I like XREAS, I like the stiffness in turns to reduce body roll, i like that I don't bounce after going over bumps. How do they compare in that aspect. anything you liked better about XREAS, and what do you like better about the bisteins?

As said, I haven't done this yet, but I did ride with another member who swapped XREAS for 5100's and FJ springs. Body roll is similar, less nose dive when braking, and it's slightly more firm which gives a smoother ride. Most of the small bumps that were felt with the OEM system now go unnoticed.

I do have a question though: what rear shocks did you use? Anything longer than OEM could cause issues with the rear air bags, you really need to be careful with your selection.

I did not like how the xreas rode at all. It rode really harsh almost like a truck, and had quite a bit of roll and dive when cornering and braking. with the bilsteins that isnt there, its a bit stiffer but smother as well. It also doesnt have the dive and roll that it did before. My xreas system was also in good shape, no leaks or anything.

You have directions or the FSM instructions part of the air bag system you adjusted?
