Liftgate moves in and out when latched

I'm trying to tackle some of my bangs and rattles and one of my most annoying ones I've traced back to the liftgate. After I close and latch the hatch, I am still able to pull it in and out and it rattles in the latch. The latch doesn't look adjustable, so I'm not sure how to go about fixing this. Any ideas?

You can't slide the latch in the hatch any higher?

I haven't checked the door side. Just looked at the bar on the body and it didn't look adjustable.
