Lifting an 04 with XRAES and Air

Any updates on this? Im in the similar situation? 03 4runner with xreas and the rear suspension.

so, just lifting a front is not an issue as I can see. Procedure is exactly same as without x-reas?

Pretty much, you just can't take the whole shock assembly out to work on it. You need to install the spacers instead the wheel well with the Xreas lines connected. Kind of pain but very doable.

I bought the front and rear but just did the front and it looks fine for me, and the 265/70 BFG a/ts helped a bit.

which lift you used? CF or DS? I thinking 2.5" spacer in front will do just fine, we can always lift rear few more inches on demand with air if we have to.
Is it easy job? Spring compression not required? I think I can do it over a weekend.

I used the DS topload kit (easier install type). Correct no spring compression required. The directions are ok that come with DS kit but the photo references make you scratch your head sometimes. Between JA's site and few other DIY I got them in. Be forewarned as soon as you remove that castle nut with the puller from upper control arm the whole rest of the assembly flys everywhere. No mater how hard I tried to stabilize the caliper and the ABS hose, speed sensor wire etc...it always seemed to be very tight. Anyways good luck with the install PM me if you need some more gap information (directions between the steps).
