Light Bar + Light Options?

Hey guys, sorry to post this for a second time but unfortunately with a bump I still recieved no responses. I've got a '97 Limited with two fog lights on the front but would like to stick four up top. I've got a Yakima Loadwarrior on top (I don't know if I could mount the lights on the front of that? I'm on a bit of a budget so these don't have to be PIAA's haha. Any suggestions?

I see what you are trying to do. Yakima actually sells light mounts for the load warrior: Yakima Light Mounting Bracket

If you are wanting to go the cheaper route, you could even put a series of holes in the front bar of your loadwarrior to mount the lights to. If you do go this route, definately take your time and rust-proof the holes.

I wish that there was a good light bar that would mount to our roofs, but unfortunately I have not found anything.

Which ever way you find to do this, definately take your time and post pictures. Best of luck to ya. :cheers:
 
So assuming that I can mount the lights right on my Yakima LoadWarrior, what are some cheap light options? I know that sounds bad, but does anyone out there have experience with some lower end lights that were still at least someone functional? This is more of an appearance thing than function (face palm)

As for lights, I would suggest that you research and find the best bang for your buck. I would search for some KC's or PIAA's. Hella is also a good manufacturer for lighting systems, just take your time researching and find a good deal. Look on amazon or ebay. Maybe even check your local craigslist. I advise you not to go with cheap lights. If it takes longer to save up and get the more expensive ones, do it. Itll be worth your time and money

Thanks for the advice, man! I might jump on those mounts. Any light suggestions? I've seen a couple sets on Ebay and Amazon for around 60 for 2 which doesn't seem too bad. I'm thinking that's right about what I'll be spending.

Look at reviews and see if they are name brand lights. Once again you want a reliable good quality product.
