hey man been off the forum for awhile and just getting back online and gotta say that that looks sweet and i would def. not paint those wheels.
i did the same mud flap mod looks so much better like that.

Clemsonfan15... What about blacking out the wheels toyota emblems and lugnuts?....I think that would give your rims a little nice touch!...

I kinda like the emblem idea, but I'm not sure how painting the lug nuts would look. I wish I was good with Photoshop.

I considered a lift, but for me it's not practical and would cost a lot. Coils+shocks+install+new tires. Plus decreased MPG. I just can't justify it.

I am considering a roof rack though.

To be honest, hindsight 20/20, I'd have a late 3rd gen with some Tru-trac (work great w/ATRAC ) and a super-charger AND money leftover for Sequoia/Tundra rims

A 3rd Gen with low miles is a pretty fun vehicle to have. I think that they still look pretty current and up to date. Good value too.

Throw a supercharger on there and you have a pretty good amount of power.

We got some snow today. Not much compared to a lot of you, but it was a good amount for South Carolina, probably close to four inches when I was out in it about 30 minutes ago.

I decided to go out and test my new tires after the snow was sticking and beginning to ice over (about eight hours after it first started to fall). Last year we got about the same amount or a little more and I had the Michelin LTXs. I didn't really have any problems with those and would recommend those to a lot of people.

There is a difference though with the Duratracs. The 4runner feels a little more glued to the ground. Instead of taking the easy route and following the ruts that were already there I made my own paths in the snow that builds up between ruts. I was looking for anything challenging, steep hills etc... I had no problems. I was going 10-15 MPH faster than almost everyone else on the road because the tires were that good.

Definitely a great tire.

That's good info...hey I travel through SC on I85 pretty regularly. Between what exits would I expect to see you? I see 3rd gens on the highway all the time up there!

The wheels and tires Definately look great! Did you want the White Letters out? When I ordered mine, I didn't think of asking for them to be mounted in....and got them facing out. I'm kinda on the fence about it.....but the white letters are a little harder to keep clean.

I told them white letters in, but I guess that was too hard for them to handle.

I'm not too upset about it though. If they get too dirty I'll probably just have them switch them so they are facing in.

I had mine facing out I'm sure you remember but I switched to black, dude, do it. It looks good the way it is on your 4runner since yours is a light color but I got so sick of cleaning the lettering to keep them white and it makes the truck look slammed.

But yeah, JMO
