Lime Rush TRD Pro

Interesting! So I guess the only photo for sure of Lime Rush would be the one at port that hasn’t been transformed into a TRD Pro yet.
Well, no. The 4 pics of the Tacoma above are the actual color. Just the 4Runner was a wrap.

From everything I’ve read online, Lime Rush and Electric Lime Metallic are two different colors with different paint codes. For how similar they look, it’s surprising Toyota didn’t just make them the same like past TRD Pros.

If only the Toyota Canada website glitch was true and the 2022 color was the mustard yellow. Much better than lime.

Yes, that is true. The 4Runner at the port in the previous post #34 is not a wrap and is the true Lime Rush color. This is how the Pro’s look prior to the TRD Pro mods.

The one I took pics of at the Overland Expo was a wrap job.

I don't think it was. What makes you think it was a wrap? Those were display vehicles directly from Toyota. I walked all around it before taking a picture, I didn't see any signs of it being a wrap, no seams or anything.

It was also metallic and had the typical Toyota orange peel.

Because I checked the corners underneath the edge of the hood and you could see the vinyl bunched up where they pinched and cut the edge. It looked like a black truck underneath.

TRD Jon also confirmed it was a wrapped 2020 model.

The radar and camera are really throwing off the looks of the grill. It used to look much cleaner.

You're right. It looks terrible. That's what happens when you just stick things on an old design. Hopefully, the 6th gen will seamlessly integrate these things in.

I really should've paid more attention then! Nice catch

I want to like that color, but I'm going to reserve judgement until I see it in person. I want something that's full on highlighter green/yellow.

Great minds think alike haha. I'd want it in Highlighter Green/Yellow too. Would make the TRD Pro look more "fun" (similar to the Voodoo Blue).

Saw this one at my local Toyota dealer last week. Can't say I liked it, my have been better in the sun, I hope so. It was only marked up $5K.
