Looks great. Would you please be so kind and take a close up picture of the front and rear fender where the factory trim mates up to the Shrockworks trim? I have read that it looks "unfinished", but I wanted to see how bad.

Also did you have to remove the XREAS lines to install the rock sliders? I removed the XREAS shocks, but the distribution lines are still running along the frame.

Anyone running 17" SCS wheels on their Limited with 285/70/17 tires?

Please post up. I'm debating on either 265 or 285 Falken Wildpeaks with a Daystar 2.5"/1.5" leveling kit.

I will have this setup in the next week or so. Got 17" SCS SR8s with some Cooper 285/70/17 ATPs that will go on. Will post pics when the shoes are fitted.

Looking to get same setup, but damn it's $900.

I just hated the chrome line along the bottom of the door. I put the Shrockworks Trim on but have not pulled the trigger on the sliders yet. TBH, just the simple change in trim looks so much better than the plastic chrome. Looks like the 4R sits a few inches hire just getting rid of it.

I'll plasti-dip that chrome for now.
There is a group buy going on for Shrockworks now, but I'll have to wait till the next one.

FWIW.....Metaltech makes bolt-on sliders specifically for Limiteds. Works with XREAS lines and can keep Limited rockers. This is the path I took just so I wouldn't have to worry about changing rockers. And also Plastidip the chrome.

Thanks, but it comes out to $860 (powder-coated plus shipping), I would rather get the Trail Rocker Trim for extra $40, and it looks like Shrockworks would serve better as a step.

I haven't taken a pic yet, but it really doesn't look bad unless you're the type to nitpick it.

Shrockworks sliders are fully compatible with XREAS suspension, just unbolt/unclip the hard lines from the frame, slide the slider brackets behind the hardlines, bolt up, all good.

The flat Shrockworks with tread plate that I have work great as a step, better than the running boards it came with.

But then you sacrifice ~4-6" of clearance since they have to dip down to get around the unnecessarily tall Limited rocker panel trim. The Shrockworks stick straight out from the frame, their bottom is level with the frame rails.

Just my opinion, but the Shrockworks trim is well worth the $270 bucks. It looks SO much better and gives you extra clearance.

Took me 45 minutes to install and I am basically the most novice person on this forum.

i like the black out mods. but, why didnt you black out the chrome on the bumpers?

Gave my taillights a slight and subtle makeover and smoked them out just enough to blend in with blacked out look . Didn't want to give it the completely murdered out look. Didn't want to get that extra attention from Johnny law.
Got one more mod then I'm done. Gobi rack on order and that's it.... at least for a month or two. Haha. Dang this forum for creating a monster.

This looks good! Did you cut your rockers?

Yeah I got there inspiration from Antman's post showing his rocker trim. I used my jigsaw with a very high TPI blade and cleaned it up with my belt sander.

I almost made the mistake of just getting the limited steps before seeing the difference. I gained nearly 2.5" side body height with just the step swap.

Who here has the toytec 3” front 1.5” rear spacer kit on their Limiteds? I’ve read a few posts about alignment issues. Before I get this installed, I just want to see how y’all have liked it so far. I don’t believe this will be a permanent fix, just would like to keep XReas intact as long as possible.

I'm in the same boat with my limited. I don't want to get rid of the xreas right now so I bought a Daystar 2.5"/1.5 leveling kit. I just need time to install it.

I'm seeing more 2.5 inch lifts than 3 inch. Wondering if theres an issue with it and xreas.

I'm gonna go ahead and order my tires this month. Toyota is having their sale, and I can get 4 tires for 830 bucks installed. 285/70/17 size tires were going to run me 1100-1300 installed everywhere for BF's or Michelin's.
